Welcome to the Oxbridge Interview Series.

Of all UK Law Schools, Oxford and Cambridge require applicants to go for an additional test which is the Interview. Traditionally, applicants who perform well for the LNAT and have a strong overall application will be called up by Oxbridge for an interview. This usually comes in at around 22nd November (it varies from college to college, year to year and is not set in stone). The interviews will take place around the first two weeks of December, and applicants will usually be called up to at least 2 interviews. The interviews usually comprise around 20 minutes of talking time per applicant.

The interviews, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, have been held online since 2020 for international students as well as for EU students.

At Inspire Law, we understand that interviews especially with the top Law professors in the world can be nerve-wrecking. Hence, we made it a point to provide tips and tricks to applicants, as well as thinking frameworks for potential interview questions. In our opinion, the best way to practice interviews is to read opinion pieces and generate your own thoughts and stand in different themes across a variety of social issues.

Going into the interview, just smile, be confident and be proud of being able to be in the position to even be discussing Law with the very best tutors in the world. Don't be too uptight and nervous, and be natural in your disposition. We at Inspire Law wish you all the very best !
